I am a researcher in computational linguistics and phonetics in the Department of Philosophy, Linguistics and Theory of Science at the University of Gothenburg, Gothenburg Sweden. Previously, I was a visiting researcher at Princeton University, and a visiting lecturer at the University of Cyprus.
My research interests include phonetics/phonology, computational linguistics, and language variation and change. Specifically, my research centers around i. Prosody (Intonation, Lengthening, Intensity), ii. Segmental Phonetics (Vowels and Consonants), and iii. Language variation and change. Besides these I am also interested in: iv. Bivariational Speech & Language Pathology, and v. Research Methodology and Statistics (for the software I developed, visit this page).
